SNAPSHOT: Pierson Lends a Helping Paw

Dominic Strain’s (10) favorite part about having Pierson in the classroom is being able to take a break from his schoolwork to relax and relieve his stress with Pierson.

Ben Boehm (11) grooms Pierson every day, benefiting both himself and Pierson in the process.

If Lane Tomlinson’s (12) hand falls, Pierson is there to pick it back up, creating giggles and joy in the process.

Pierson is not only a pet but a friend to Westfield High School Students.

Pierson has learned a variety of tricks including pressing elevator buttons, opening the handicapped entrance and closing the classroom door.
