How a Plant Grows

When you gave me a small plant

I didn’t know what to expect of it

How it would grow, how tall or how fast

How strong the stem, how large the leaves

How healthy and happy it would be

But the truth is, it exceeded all expectations

It is happier and healthier than ever

The stem gets stronger and holds more leaves

It has grown accustomed to where it is
